Researchers say that a person eating a high-fat low-fiber diet absorbs almost 100 percent of all fat consumed. With a high-fat, high-fiber diet,however, fat absorption is significantly reduced. Good sources of fiber include: oatmeal, bran cereal, beans, whole grains and potatoes.
