100 Calorie Snacks

Had this helpful diet tip in my pile by my desk for awhile. The pre-packaged100 calorie snack seems to be all the rage of late, so here is a list of 100 calorie snacks you can make yourself.

Hungry? Good! Although eating healthy and maintaining a sensible limit on calories and fat is important, you don’t have to suffer on a healthy eating plan.

There are many foods that are not only healthy and low calorie, they’re delicious and down right fun to eat.

Not convinced?
How about these at or below 100 calorie snacks:

1 large apple
1 large orange
10 cashews
9 Jell-O sugar-free snacks
10 almonds
22 Nabisco Air Crisps
10 fresh apricots
2 oz. lean roast beef
6 medium tomatoes
2 oz. grilled beef burger
6 oz. grapes
1/2 small avocado
2 strips of bacon
1 small cob of corn
5 tsp. of honey
1 crumpet lightly buttered
9 lifesavers
5 oz. cooked noodles
1 Snack wells cookie
1 7-grain Belgium waffle
10 oz. raw carrots
3 Crackers
1 large grapefruit
9 Quaker min-rice snacks
1 4.5 oz. glass red or dry white wine
2 small pears
1 large banana
4 oz. cottage cheese
9 oz. fresh cherries
20 asparagus spears
1/2 small eggplant
4 oz. baked beans
1/4 cup frozen yogurt
1 oz. fruit stollen
3 oz. smoked salmon
12 oz. fresh strawberries
30 Altoids mints
1 Kit Kat bar
N1 large slice of melon
5 fresh plums

Still hungry?

How about 3 oz. red kidney beans or 1 medium slice of bread? Or, you could enjoy 3 level Tbs. of margarine, 1/2 cup of tomato soup or 1/4 pound of blueberries.
Which just goes to show you, eating right, or eating light can be absolutely a pure delight!
